Tom Berto­lacini lives in the beau­ti­ful rolling hills of East­ern Greene County.  For thirty years he has earned a liv­ing in pho­tog­ra­phy, but he always enjoyed work­ing with wood.  About three years ago he began turn­ing wood on his grandfather’s lathe, how­ever, he soon found that he needed a lathe with more ver­sa­til­ity.  Exper­i­ment­ing with dif­fer­ent types of wood and cre­at­ing new prod­ucts has given him another way to find artis­tic expres­sion.  While he con­tin­ues to enjoy pho­tog­ra­phy, he finds much plea­sure in giv­ing sal­vaged trees a sec­ond life.  Visit him and see his craft at the show on Saturday!
